Zuhal Özbolat is a textile designer whose practice is rooted in interdisciplinary methods: painting, printmaking, digital manipulation, weaving, and material experimentation. Beginning with intuitive, performative mark-making, she creates textured, ambient visual structures that act as “excavations”, surfaces where past impressions reconfigure into new material forms. Guided by muscle memory and subconscious associations, her work transforms fleeting emotional experiences into recurring motifs and tactile textures, exploring the delicate edge between chaos and control.
